The leadership of BOMA/NY is comprised of elected officers and a Board of Directors, who serve the Association on a volunteer basis. Additionally, BOMA/NY has a full-time professional support staff working at its Penn Plaza office.

The Board of Directors oversees the general direction, control and management of BOMA/NY, working in the interest of the membership at large.  The Board holds regular meetings to discuss issues such as membership, employees, purchases or sales of BOMA/NY-controlled property, and all other matters relevant to the Association.  Members serve a three-year term.

Each officer is elected by a majority vote of the Principal Members for a one-year term (with an option to serve a second year), which traditionally begins on January 1st.
